Etude d'un problème d'interaction fluide-structure : Application au flux artériel.

Abstract : Fluid structure interaction problems are more and more used in the industry and in many research field. The medical imagery evolution leads to new biomecanical problems. One of them is the study of the blood flow in arteries. There is two kinds of fluid structure interaction problem in the blood flow study. The first one is the the evolution of the blood cells in the plasma. The second one is the intercation between the fluid and the artery wall, this problem is the topic of this thesis.

In our study, the blood is modelized as an homogeneous fluid and the artery by a Donnell thin shell model. The first chapter is dedicated to the problem's modeling. In the second chapter, we study a simplified fluid problem. The third chapter is the main part of this thesis, is dedicated to an existence result of the full non linear fluid problem, where we model the fluid by the compressible Navier-Stokes equations. In the last chapter we present the numerical methos we used to solve the previous study problem in a time depending domain.
