. De-ce-fait, les traces issues de la désintégration d'un hadron contenant un quark b ne sont pas issues du vertex primaire de l'interaction mais d'un vertex secondaire. Cette particularité est utilisée par différents algorithmes afin d'identifier les jets provenant d'un quark b. Un hadron beau vá egalement se désintégrer leptoniquement dans unétat unétat final µ + X dans 11% des cas
