Traitement des déchets issus de la biomasse pour la génération d'énergie

Abstract : Hydrothermal oxidation is a method of aqueous industrial liquid waste processing. It consists of a total mineralization of the organic matter in the presence of an oxidant in water under pressure and high temperature. The thesis work has for aims to build simulation tools allowing the development and the design of hydrothermal oxidation unit. The first chapter of the memory introduce the physico-chemical properties of supercritical water. Then, a state of
the market potential of the biomass, available and treatable by the process of hydrothermal oxidation, is described. The state of the art of the generating processes of energy and work treating of the valorisation of the biomass by hydrothermal oxidation is drawn up. The second chapter present the results related to the electric valorisation of waste resulting from the biomass for the hydrothermal oxidation process. In this chapter, the process of hydrothermal oxidation is described; its constraints and the results of optimization are presented. The third chapter is dedicated to the modelling of a polyphase engine tank and to the validation of this model thanks to the experimental results obtained on the pilot of I.C.M.C.B. The main originality of this model comes from the prediction of the behaviour of a population of
particles in an engine tank in supercritical conditions.
