TRAITE DE PSYCHOPATHOLOGIE ET THERAPEUTIQUE REUNIONNAISES

Abstract : This thesis aims at understanding the entangling between cultural factors and reunionese psychopathologic disorders as expressed in a psychological transcultural consultation. Put in their psycho-historical and cultural context back, these disorders are related with the subject's relations to the sacred. The sacred is a notion that is present all along the thesis. Psychological and cultural identity, relationship, feeling of sameness and difference, order and disorder are framed by the sacred's anthropology. So witnessed troubles are able to take place in an universal causality classification: mystical, animistic and magical. Most of them are commonly related with the dead's interference in the every day's life. They can be read as fear's aetiology in a traumatic logic. Clinical observations and analysis of « traditional » healer's work show the tight relation between the disorder's traumatical breaking in and the healing work according to an universal concern : reinforcing social ties, membership's and self's consciousness of the weakest in the frame of a creolizing world.
