Couplage instationnaire Navier-Stokes/Euler pour la génération et le rayonnement des sources de bruit aérodynamique

Abstract : The numerical simulation of the prediction of the aerodynamic noise by the resolution
of the Navier-Stokes equations is still out of reach of the supercomputers for the industrial
configurations. The local aerodynamic computation must be coupled to an acoustic
propagation method in a zone where the mean flow is inhomogeneous. The numerical
resolution of the Euler equations in a perturbation form, discretized by a filtered highorder
finite difference method, allows to simulate the acoustic propagation in such zones.
Several stabilization methods are studied. A high-order curvilinear interface, based on a
Lagrange interpolation in a reference element, is developed to facilitate the Large-Eddy
Simulation/Euler coupling. This numerical method is applied to the study of the radiation
from noise sources in the slat cove of a high-lift wing in approach configuration, and, to
the prediction of the radiated noise from the turbulent flow around a flat plate.
