Etude théorique des fluctuations quantiques dans la lumière sortant d'une microcavité semiconductrice

Abstract : We present a theoretical treatment about the modification of the quantum fluctuations of the light beam through the nonlinear interaction with semi-conductor microcavity quantum wells. Our study is concerned more precisely with the noise spectrum and the autocorrelation function of the emitted field. Our study of the noise spectrum predicts important squeezing effects in the case of strong coupling between excitons and cavity photons and at low temperature where the semiconductor excitons are decoupled from the lattice perturbation effects. We also demonstrated tat the noise reduction effects disappear with the increase of the thermal bath temperature. The study of the autocorrelation function which is a statistical indicator of the emitted field has permitted to highlight the antibunching ( non-classical effects) and bunching effects depending on the detuning between the laser and the cavity frequency.
