Etude des collisions d'ions lourds aux énergies du SIS et du LHC

Abstract : The aim of (ultra-)relativistic heavy ion collisions is to pin-down the nuclear equation of state by studying the properties of nuclear matter under extreme conditions of temperature and pressure.
In the low energy domain, heavy ion collisions allow to explore the behaviour of nuclear matter at moderate temperature and high baryonic density.
At high energy, quantum chromodynamics predicts the deconfinement of hadron constituents into a quark gluon plasma.
The first part of this document is devoted to the study of strangeness production in heavy-ion collisions with the FOPI detector at the SIS-GSI.
The second part focusses on the study of heavy flavor production in heavy-ion collisions with the ALICE detector at the CERN-LHC.
