L'enfance agitée d'une mégapole. Transition urbaine et fragmentation de l'espace dans la vallée de Mexico.

Abstract : Mexico's valley metropolitan area is characterized since a couple of decades by phenomenon of "fragmentation" of urban spaces driven by mecanisms of privatization of public realm and development of gated communities. The purpose of this thesis of urban geography is to analyse contemporean socio-spatial divisions in Mexican Megapolis with a multiscalar long-term approach of actual segregative trends.
