Réalisation d'un prototype industriel 100kJ pour le traitement de déchets par puissances électriques pulsées

Abstract : The aim of this thesis is to make its contribution to the experimental study of electrical dicharges in water and associated pressure waves. This study fits in with a collaboration between the Effitech society and the LGE laboratory by means of a CIFRE grant and it's in this context that a 100kJ industrial prototype was carried out to treat wastes by electrical pulsed power.
The first chapter introduce by means of a bibliographical synthesis the pulsed power technology , the principle of its elaboration and its main associated civilian applications.
The second chapter explains in detail the two experimental devices used during this study ; the first part presents the industrial process, and the second, the test board of lower energy, allowing the physical and electrotechnical study of the electrical discharge in water.
Experimental results of this study are introduced in the third chapter. Electrical and optical mesures reveal two types of discharges i.e. subsonic and supersonic discharges. By means of an electrotechnical study, the two types of discharge phenomenology is detailled which allows afterwards to deals with the transition between subsonic and supersonic discharges.
Finally, in the fourth chapter, two applications of the PBT method are presented. The first one concerns the industrial prototype. An electrotechnical study, the pressure generated by the discharge and associated applications are exposed. The second application allows to evaluate the efficiency of electrical discharges in water to treat biofilms present in pipes.
