(2005) reconnaissent l'existence d'une crise de détritisme vers 2300 calBP que l'on retrouve aussi dans le lac de Constance en Allemagne, 1998.

Buillit, 895-985 AD et 1240-1340) correspondent exactement aux deux périodes d'impact anthropique déjà caractérisées dans le lac d'Annecy Dearing Le déboisement massif du Moyen-Age documenté dans la région (Chavoutier, 1977) pourrait à lui seul être responsable de ces épisodes, Les deux périodes très courtes d'augmentation du détritisme, 1997.

Bravard, Deux courts évènements (500-570 AD et 680-760 AD) sont les équivalents de la période 3 de haut niveau lacustre (Magny, 2004) et des crues du Rhône observées dans le lac du Bourget entre 450 et 750 AD (figure V-8) Ces deux courtes dégradations du premier millénaire précèdent l'épisode « sec L'« optimum climatique » de l'an Mil s'achève à Annecy peu avant 1400 AD. Cette date, est postérieure de 150 ans à celle des chroniques historiques (Leroy-Ladurie, 1967 ; qui indiquent des épisodes de gels généralisés dès 1200 AD)) (figure V-8) Jusqu'en 1850, Sur le plan climatique, quatre épisodes de dégradations sont observés sur les 1500 dernières années au niveau du Haut Rhône les flux détritiques augmentent significativement en réponse à une augmentation de pluviosité hivernale associée à des baisses de température qui caractérisent le Petit Age de Glace (PAG) de la région, 1967.
