Etude de l'effet de champs électromagnétiques basse fréquence sur les propriétés physico-chimiques de l'eau

Abstract : We have established the effects of the action of low-frequency electromagnetic fields (LFEMF) on physicochemical properties of water by exposing during 6h water samples prepared under severely controlled conditions (purification; atmospheric, electromagnetic and acoustic isolation; chemically inert containers) to sinusoidal fields (< 1 kHz), of low intensity (1 mT, 4 mV/m), supplied by a pulsed wave generator. The effect was characterized by elastic light scattering and photoluminescence, whose intensities decreased by 30% and 70% respectively. Additional dynamic light scattering and degassing showed a decrease of a population of nanobubbles of about 300 nm diameter. Our interpretation: the LFEMF act on the gas/water interface by disturbing the ionic double-layer which stabilizes gas nanobubbles in water; the photoluminescence results from the excitation of these hydrated ionic compounds.
