Propriétés structurales et magnétiques d'agrégats mixtes CoxPt1-x et CoAg. Effets de proximité et blocage de Coulomb via un agrégat isolé

Abstract : This work deals with the production and properties of magnetic mixed clusters. They are synthesized by a co-deposition technique consisting of a vaporization laser source coupled with an evaporation cell. Co-Ag clusters are have a diameter about 3.1 nm. Silver segregation leads to a Core(Co)-Shell(Ag) structure. CoPt clusters are 2 nm large and crystallized in a fcc chemically disordered phase. They have higher magnetic anisotropy energy (MAE) than pure cobalt clusters. We performed electronic transport through a single Copt cluster. We observed Coulomb blockade effects and discrete energy levels of the particle. We also measured magnetic clusters influence on local density of states of a niobium superconducting matrix. We demonstrate the presence of electronic states in the gap.
