Moteur à allumage commandé avec EGR : modélisation et commande non linéaires

Abstract : This report deals with modeling and control of a spark ignition engine. The first chapter presents an overview about modeling, estimation and control in IC engine. The second chapter is about inlet air control. Two control laws are developed : one based on a linearising control and another based on the tools of fuzzy control for Takagi-Sugeno’s fuzzy model. Among all the models considered, some are non linear and uncertain, and other with time varying delays. The third chapter shows some new theoretical results on two classes of Takagi-Sugeno’s fuzzy model : those with state time-varying delay system, and those with uncertainties. Stability conditions are also given with and without a state observer. The fourth chapter deals with the application of state feedback control and observer based on Takagi-Sugeno’s fuzzy model and/or sliding mode control, to the model of the engine. An air/fuel ratio control, a robust control law of the average engine torque, an unknown input observer of the instantaneous torque, and a simulation of a global control are presented.
