Caractérisation et modélisation spatio-temporelles du canal de propagation radioélectrique dans le contexte MIMO

Abstract : MIMO?(Multiple Input - Multiple Output) techniques constitute promising solutions regarding future high data rates wireless communication systems. These techniques aim at exploiting the spatial dimension which is offered by the propagation environment through several antennas at the transmitter and receiver, thus enabling to substantially increase the digital rate. MIMO performances are considerably dependant on the wireless propagation channel properties. It is then highly important to take interest in these ones.This document has two purposes: to deepen the knowledge on the theorical and physical aspects of the spatio-temporal MIMO channel caracterisation and modelisation while considering the spatial dimension on a level with the temporal dimension, and to propose a realistic MIMO channel simulator based on measurements results.
