Contribution à l'identification récursive des systèmes par l'approche des sous-espaces

Abstract : This work deals with the study and the development of recursive identification methods. Chapter 2 presents a synthesis of the main classical adaptive algorithms based on the least squares. The difficulties met with such approaches in some practical situations justify the creation of recursive techniques employing the state space structure. This kind of representation has proved its efficiency in the identification framework thanks to the emergence of the off line subspace methods. Chapter 3 proposes a description of the MOESP algorithms. These ones are in fact considered as the starting point of the subspace recursive techniques. Despite its robustness, the singular value decomposition (SVD) employed by these methods makes them on line unusable due to its prohibitive numerical complexity. Chapter 4 is dedicated to an overview of the recursive subspace algorithms developed till 2003. These methods have in common to adapt a particular array signal processing criterion in order to provide alternative techniques to the SVD. A description of these algorithms in a unified framework is more precisely introduced. These techniques have nevertheless some limitations mostly due to the used cost function. In order to overcome these drawbacks, we develop new recursive subspace methods in chapter 5. The proposed approach consists in adapting a particular array signal processing operator unused in identification so far: the propagator. Its adjustment to the recursive identification problem leads to quadratic criteria needing neither approximation nor constraint. The use of an instrumental variable makes possible the treatment of the perturbations. Chapter 6 is dedicated to an experimental validation of these new techniques.
