Synthèse et caractérisation physico-chimique de matériaux géopolymères. Application : cinétique de minéralisation de géopolymères et du biomatériau CaCO3 synthétique

Abstract : Synthetic biomaterials are used by surgeons to repair or augment parts of the skeleton. Their utilisation reduce immune response. They can be obtain in high quantities. Those researches deal with geopolymers (Si/ Al = 21). These aluminosilicates were synthesized and associated with calcium phosphates. After heating at 500°C, pH values of geopolymers are near 7 units and samples present a good compromise between porosity and compressive strength. These materials have been studied in vitro and in vivo to evaluate their potential use as biomaterials. The mineralization kinetics of previous geopolymers and CaCO3 hace been studied. The obtained results for synthetic CaCO3 by PIXE and NAA methods sko a behaviour similar to implanted TCP. The in vivo studies of geopolymers skow the osteointegratioin of the implants. The PIXE analysis of samples confirm the consolidation of the interface from 1 month.
