Attitude proactive, participation et collaboration à des activités d'encadrement médiatisées par ordinateur

Abstract : Tutoring Services, although under utilised, decrease the feeling of isolation experienced by distant learners. They also contribute an increase in retention of learners within the training programmes. This descriptive research originated from the need to find factors contributing to foster participation and collaboration among learners within a computer mediated tutoring environment. Links between proactive tutors and the use of training aids within a distance-learning environment having been observed through research, lead us to believe that this relationship would also be observed during computer conferencing. More precisely, we were looking for the influence of proactive tutors on participation and collaboration amongst learners and for the influence of the learners' proactive attitude on their own collaboration.
