Abstract : For distributed monitoring of large networked systems
(e.g., telecommunication networks and service networks)
it is useful to study concurrency models under the trace semantics,
to avoid the state explosion problem. We propose a probabilistic
extension of event structures and safe Petri nets (Markov nets).

A Strong Markov Property is shown for the model of Markov nets,
with applications to recurrence theory for nets. We show the
Strong Law of Large Numbers for concurrent systems with enough
synchronisation properties, with application to statistical
estimation of local parameters.
