Modélisation et élaboration des métrologies de microscopie thermique à sonde locale résistive

Abstract : The recent development of microsytems and nanostructures leads to a renewal of the thermal metrologies. The aim of this thesis is to master, thanks to modelling, an atomic force microscopy used with a thermal probe to estimate the thermal conductivity of sample at submicrometric scales. We first established a compact and complete analytical model allowing us to understand the phenomena implied in this metrology when the probe is heated in direct-current mode. We thus characterized the field of application and the limitations of this microscope. We then conceived and modelled a new process using the periodic mode to measure more precisely the local thermal properties. The retrospective analysis of our results led finally to an identification of the contributions of each mode of heat transfer between the probe and the sample and their respective surface of transfer.
