Génération de tierce harmonique et production de triplets de photons pour l'optique quantique

Abstract : This work deals with third-order nonlinear frequency conversion interactions generating or consuming three-photon groups. The motivations are theoretical but also practical, with some applications concerning quantum communication : squeezed states leads to quantum noise reduction, and photon triples generation could be used in quantum cryptography protocols. Nevertheless, no experimental realization have been achieved up to now, and such situations have never been observed. This thesis proposes a complete modelisation of concerned interactions, in the classical theory. Some experimental strategies are then defined and realized. The first generation of photon triples is observed, opening the door to the future quantum optical studies.
