Microscopie à résonance magnétique detectée mécaniquement

Abstract : Combining the techniques of scanning force microscopy with magnetic resonance imaging allows a local measurement of the magnetization dynamics. In this thesis, we demonstrate on both an analytical and experimental point of view, that this mechanical detection, measuring the longitudinal component of the magnetization with a cantilever oscillating in the audio-frequency range, still provides access to the longitudinal and transverse relaxation dynamics with a nanosecond resolution, both in paramagnetic or ferromagnetic spins system.
