Recherche d'Information Collaborative

Abstract : The existence of "World Wide Web" and the great Internet use gave new prospects for the diffusion and the sharing/distribution of information. We present in this thesis a collaborative approach for the information retrieval. We define a collaborative environment dedicated to the users group who wish/would to carry out together an information researches about a common topic. This environment helps the user to obtain a better quality of the information, and to "benefit" efficiently from the experiments of other group's members. It is proved that the support is necessary in several contexts, these contexts are analyzed like following: the support for the query formulation, the evaluation of user's research compared to the other group members and the global view of the results obtained. We designed and validated experimentally a support model which is flexible and adapted to the user typology (taken individually) and to the user's group typology (taken as a whole). A set of criteria is defined to personalize the support according to user's wishes and contexts.
