Etude de la vulnérabilité des eaux aux produits phytosanitaires : indicateur environnemental et modèle mécaniste, en vue d'une meilleure gestion du bassin versant de la Leysse (Savoie)

Abstract : A distributed mechanistic model of the Leysse catchment area was built using the MIKE SHE software, with the aim at reproducing its hydrology by simulating the karstic formations, aquifers and areas with severe runoff. A model of chemical transport was used to simulate potential pollution by accidental spilling or spreading of phytosanitary products. It showed the preponderant role of surface water in transferring pollution. An environmental indicator of surface water vulnerability to phytosanitary products, VESPP, was spatially evaluated over the catchment area. This indicator has a simple formula and the corresponding parameters are easy to gather. The results are in good agreement with those of the model. Thus validated, the indicator and its method of fuzzy analysis of imprecisions can be used by managers. It was implemented in a decision-making software based on the MapInfo GIS.
