AMPLIFICATION ET CONVERSION PARAMETRIQUES, DECALAGE ET SUPPRESSION DE FREQUENCES PAR PROCESSUS KERR ET RAMAN DANS LES FIBRES OPTIQUES

Abstract : This thesis provides a detailed theroetical and experimental investigation of four-wave mixing, and stimulated Raman scttering in single-mode optical fibers. Some applications such as broadband parametric amplification, Raman-assited parametric conversion and suppression of Raman effect are demonstrated.
