Conception Electromagnétique d'une gamme d'actionneurs Linéaires Tubulaires à Réluctance Variable

Abstract : This work presents an optimized design methodology for linear tubular switched reluctance actuators as well as a control strategy ensuring positioning for full step and micro step operation of this find of actuators. The optimized design methodology allows, first, to dimension structures answering to the need analysis specifications and second, to find optimal and robust solutions to linear positioning problems. The robustness of these structures is studied with respect to modeling uncertainties and building dispersions. These studies are achieved using the experimental design method. The developed control strategy ensures a coupling between mechanical and magnetic equations by use of response surfaces of the electromagnetic force developed by the actuator versus plunger position and phase supply currents. The force is computed from an axi-symmetric finite element model. Practical tests are achieved on a prototype specially built in order to validate the elaborated models.
