Identification des modes de vieillissement d'un assemblage en Ni/Cu électrodéposé

Abstract : The study deals with ageing modes of mechanical devices. It allows for the characterization of their long-term life reliability. It is based on the behavior during several decades of electrodeposited ni/cu/ni layered bellows. Two degradation processes are identified for these components : namely, airtightness and stiffness variations. Changes of these properties during ageing are analyzed via multi-physics couplings between the thermo-mechanical and fatigue behavior of the nickel layers, the interdiffusion of the ni/cu couple and the nickel abnormal grain growth. They are experimentally characterised using adapted or specially developed techniques. Numerical and analytical studies allow for concluding on the relevance of the identified ageing modes.
