Abstract : In Computerized Tomography the will to limit the dose delivered to the patient points out a particular problem called ''reconstruction from truncated projections''. The progress in solid state technology yields small and high resolution detectors. Moreover in synchrotron radiation, highly collimated sources are used. These features often do not allow to cover the whole examinated object, and give only measurements on a certain region of interest. The aim of our work is to present a new approach for reconstruction methods from truncated projections. First we adapt classical algorithms (A.R.T. and regularized least squares method and Filtered Backprojection). A prior complete data set at lower resolution, e.g. projections coming from a standard scanner examination is introduced in the reconstuction. Then we use a multiresolution approach with wavelet technics. All these reconstruction methods take into account the resolution differences in the solution. Of course, a preliminary registration of both data sets must be performed, but this work is not presented in this report. This approach improves the quality of the reconstruction and leads to quantitative solutions. Because of the high computation times involved, a parallel implementation is finally presented.
