Sur une classe d'équations à double non linéarité : application à la simulation numérique d'un écoulement visqueux compressible

Abstract : This work has been draw out of an industrial problem dealing with injection moulding of thermo-plastic. We focussed our attention on the filling stage of the injection process, and on the localisation of melt polymer front. The present work is thus divided in two parts : => The mathematical and numerical study of the pressure equation which is the driving force behind the model. From that example we outlined and studied a new class of doubly nonlinear equations. => The localisation of polymer / air interface by level sets methods the interface curve being describe as the zero level set of a new unknown function. We obtained existence of a solution to a linear transport equation with boundary conditions to which this unknown function must satisfy. Then we deviced a numerical method for the front localisation, solving by finite elements / finite volumes method the pressure equation and the front propagating equation. Our method appeared to be robust, specially to handle changes of topology of the front.
