Modélisation multi-échelle du comportement magnéto-mécanique des matériaux ferromagnétiques texturés

Abstract : This study deals with the experimental characterisation and the modelling of magneto-mechanical coupled properties of textured ferromagnetic materials.
A multiscale model, considering successively, the energetic equilibrium of a magnetic domain, of a single crystal (or grain), and of a Representative Volume Element of a polycristal is written. This model is applied to a silicon-iron alloy, whose magneto-elastic behaviour is characterised using a specific experimental benchmark.
It is shown that the coupled behaviour is highly anisotropic, and strongly sensitive to residual stresses and free surfaces. These effects are introduced in the model formulation.
Applications or extensions of the model are then presented. They concern the influence of plastic strains on the magnetic behaviour, or the definition of an uniaxial equivalent stress for magnetic behaviour under multiaxial mechanical loadings.
