Etude des regions centrales de la Voie Lactée en infrarouge proche

Abstract : This thesis work is based on comparisons of the Besançon model of Galaxy with near infrared star counts. We firstly fitted 11 thin disc and outer bulge density parameters and showed that the outer bulge is oblate and oriented anbout 10° from the Sun direction, and that the thin disc has a central hole with a radius of about 2 kpc. We then showed using CAIN data the existence at l<27° of a stellar overdensity confined close to the Galactic plane which might correspond to a bar.
