Confluences, remplissage et vidange: deux aspects singuliers du système veineux jambier

Abstract : The aim of this work is to study two singular aspects of the human leg venous system, in keeping with the general pattern of venous return modelling program undertaken by Laboratoires Innothera. The first part is devoted to the confluences. Using numerical methods with experimental validation we propose two models allowing, in one hand to predict the singular headlosses in a confluence according to its geometry and its of flow and, in the other hand, to take into account the nonNewtonian effects of blood by introducing a viscosity whose value depends on the flow. The second part relates to the filling and draining of a flexible tube. With the help of an hydrodynamic bench we developed a method of measurement of state law of these pipes and a modelling accounting for the kinematics of their wall. Lastly, we carried out the validation of a code of digital simulation allowing to solve the problem of fluid flow in deformable ducts.
