Statistique des interactions dans l'Univers : des molécules aux galaxies

Abstract : This text summarizes work that I carried out since 1985, the year of my PhD. This work is subdivided into three principal chapters: 1) the chemistry of circumstellar environments (evolved stars - oxygenated or carbonated envelopes - and young stars). 2) gravitational dynamics applied to the a) dynamical and cosmological evolution of groups of galaxies; b) projection effects in groups and clusters; c) the nature of compact groups; d) frequency of galaxy mergers and the morphological segregation in groups and clusters; e) galaxy formation. 3) large observational surveys, and in particular the DENIS survey of the entire southern sky in the near infra-red.
