Matière Noire Astronomique et Champs Scalaires

Abstract : This PhD thesis is devoted to the cosmological and astrophysical Dark Matter problems.

In the first four chapters are detailed successively the Standard Cosmological Model, observations leading to the dark matter and dark energy problems, most studied dark matter models, and different cosmological or astrophysical models using scalar fields. In the three following chapters, we expose several dark matter models based on a complex, U(1)-charged, scalar field. Associated with a quadratic potential, such a scalar field can explain galaxy rotation curves, while having a matter behavior since the recombination. In the case of a quartic potential, this field has a good cosmological behavior too, and is able to reproduce the rotation curves of small spiral galaxies, which are highly problematic for many dark matter models.
