Elle permet d' eliminer les ev enements dimuons dont les quantit es physiques corr el ees ( energie transverse E ? , energie longitudinale r esiduelle E zdc ) s'en trouvent pollu ees. L'identiication des ev enements avec r einteractions les plus pollueurs autorise ainsi l'utilisation de ciblettes epaisses, en garantissant une mesure propre des quantit es physiques corr el ees aux paires de muons
