Quantum Modelling and Photon Squeezing in Nanolasers Quantum Modelling and Photon Squeezing in Nanolasers

Abstract : We present a quantum mechanical theory that solves the issue of threshold in nanolasers by including coherent and incoherent emission effects above and below threshold. We also identify a regime of collective antibunching that precedes lasing in high quality nanolasers and results in efficient noise intensity reduction.
