Microprogramming as a means of evaluation of a computer's performance and reliability

Deals with the study of relations between cost, reliability and performance of redundant micromachines simulating the same macromachine. After showing how the authors selected the mix necessary to the evaluation of the performance of the chosen computer and showing an example of the implementation of redundancy where an increase of cost does not necessarily entail an increase of the reliability, the authors show curves representing the variations of cost-reliability at a constant performance, cost-performance at a constant reliability and performance-reliability at a constant cost.
