Le tourisme littoral dans le Sud-Ouest ivoirien
Résumé
Tourism constitutes an alternative for the economic development of Côte d'Ivoire. It's obvious that the economical and financial incidences are indeniable but we must not forget that its effects on the Ivorian South-West area are not enough studied. In this thesis, the emphasis has been placed on the structuring of the tourist space in an area economically promising where the seaside issue is presented as a social and economical accompanying factor. The analyses were about the advantages, the tourist planning of the Ivorian South-West and the spatial, economical and social consequences due to the growth of the seaside tourism on the littoral space and the hinterland. The planning problems caused by the integration of the seaside tourism with regard to the traditional activities of the production have not been occulted. Finally some elements of reflexion on the tourist planning have not talked about for an effective exploitation of the Ivoirian South-West space.
Le tourisme constitue pour la Côte d'Ivoire une alternative pour son développement économique. S'il paraît évident que les incidences financières et économiques du tourisme sont indéniables, il ne faut cependant pas oublier que les effets de celui-ci sur la région du Sud-Ouest ivoirien sont peu étudiés. Dans cette thèse, l'accent a été mis sur la structuration de l'espace touristique dans une région économiquement prometteuse où le fait balnéaire est présenté comme un facteur d'accompagnement économique et social. Les analyses ont porté sur les atouts, l'aménagement touristique du Sud-Ouest ivoirien et les conséquences spatiales, économiques et sociales dues à l'essor du tourisme balnéaire sur l'espace littoral et l'arrière-pays. Les problèmes d'aménagement créés par l'intégration du tourisme balnéaire par rapport aux activités traditionnelles de production n'ont pas été occultés. Enfin, quelques éléments de réflexion en matière d'aménagement touristique ont été abordés en vue d'une exploitation efficiente de l'espace du Sud-Ouest ivoirien.
